He is survived by: his parents, Garrett Joe Wingate and Brooke Ellis Wingate of Doerun; his brother Davis Wingate of Doerun; his grandparents, Gettis, Charlotte Wingate of Doerun, Connie, Mike Patterson of Moultrie, Tony and Kathy Ellis of Moultrie; his aunts, Amber Hanberry of Thomasville and Mandy (Kevin Kinsey); his cousins, Wynn Kinsey, Rynn Kinsey, Stone Hanberry and Sonny Hanberry; and his close friend Ada Sutton of Norman Park. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and extended family friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Baker Funeral Home & Crematory (2222 GA-37, Moultrie, GA 31788). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Heritage Church (844 GA-33, Moultrie, GA 31788).
