It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Sellars of Doerun, Georgia, born in Moultrie, Georgia, who passed away on October 21, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Danny may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Danier Sellars and Lillie Bell Rhodes Sellars; his wife Peggy Joyce Sellars; his sons, Christopher Todd Sellars and Brenton Ray Sellars; and his sister Betty Sellars.
He is survived by: his daughter Dana Turner (Charles) of Andersonville, TN; his grandchildren, Charles Porter Turner and Madison Shae Sellars; and his brothers, Billy Sellars of Doerun and Gary Sellars of Leesburg.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Elm Baptist Church (5226 GA-33, Moultrie, GA 31768).
