He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Meadows and Edna Giles Meadows; his sisters, Cynthia M. Swords and Connie M. Fillyaw; his grandparents, Ella, Ave Giles, Dorothy and Wallace Meadows; and his niece Stephanie Fillyaw.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Clayton Meadows of Doerun; his daughters, Dene Meadows Braswell (Alan) of Sylvester and Dara Meadows Johnson (Todd) of Albany; his grandchildren, Brittany B. Martin (Austin) of Tifton, Kate Johnson (Christian) of Albany and Brent Braswell (Ariel); and his siblings, Debbie M. Whatley of Moultrie, Annette King (Travis) of Moultrie, Clarice Glass (Jerry) of Cordele and Mark Meadows (Angela) of Americus. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
