She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Plymel and Thelma Bragg Plymel; her husband Arlie Jefferson Pate, Sr.; and her siblings, Marion Plymel, Martha Jane Lollar and Ruth Hawkins.
She is survived by: her children, Arlie Jefferson Pate, Jr. (Kathy) of Moultrie, Richard A. Pate (Donna) of Moultrie, Sharon Pate Baird (Billy) of Doerun and Brenda Pate Woods of Thomasville; and her siblings, Lamar Plymel (Sharon) of Norman Park and Dorothy Faye Hobby of Moultrie. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
