He was predeceased by: his parents, Weadom Wright and Pearlie Manning Wright; and his siblings, Weadom Wright, Jr., Jimmie Gipson, Pearline Merrick and Pedro Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Forte Wright; his daughter Kristalyn Nicole "Nikki" Wright; and his siblings, George Wright (Joyce) of Miami, James Wilbur Wright (Jackie) of Decatur, Dannie Wright of Atlanta, Lottie Mae Cody of El Paso, TX, Lucy M. Heath of Port Orange, FL, Aristine Wright Grant (Baltimore, MD) and Patricia Jenkins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He served on the ASU Foundation Board for eight years and was President for four years.
