He is survived by: his daughter Ashley Miller (Bryce); his grandchildren, Kaorie, Tijay, Auria and Along; his mother Merlene Newsome; his brothers, Anthony Newsome (Juanita), Calvin Newsome (LaChandra), Tony Newsome and Kenneth Newsome; his aunts and uncles, Nadine Jefferson of Miami, FL, Rena Dixon (Richard), Roberta Howard (Willie), Gloria Newsome, Vinnie Arnold, Teresa Rountree (Ernest), Eloise Penny (Kenny), JoCarolyn Brown (Willie), Alfred Gray of Quitman, GA, Charles Davis (Ruth), Frederick James and Jewel Gray; his mother-in-law Evangeline Rountree of Dixie, GA; and also, Earnest Rountree (Teresa) and Terrell E. Rountree (Monique). He is also survived by one brother preceded him in death, Toye Newsome; four sisters, Diane Newsome (Ron), Carol Newsome (Steve), Debra Davis, Quitman, GA, one sister.
