She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Victor Miettinen, Sr. and Kathleen Milam Miettinen; her husband Doug Darlington; her brother Victor Miettinen, Jr.; and her sisters-in-law, June Louis and Evelyn Dewberry.
She is survived by: her children, Debra "Debbie" Jackson of Laporte, TX, Bubba Darlington, Jr. of Mount Bellview, TX and Dennis Darlington of Port Bolivar, TX; her grandchildren, Dustin Darlington, Amanda Darlington, Ross Darlington, Kaylin Jackson, Lynnsey Jackson, Ryan Jackson, Kendall Darlington, MacKinzie Darlington and Darby Darlington; her great grandchildren, Lane Darlington and Brynn Darlington; her sisters, Betty Davis of Pasadena, TX, Ruth Miettinen of Houston, TX and Dorothy Novosad (Billy) of Crosby, TX; her sisters-in-law, Voncille Taylor of Dixie, Mary Lou Parker of Thomasville, Mamie McCullough of Houston, TX and Martha Blundell of Troy, TX; and her caregiver Cathy Deal of Valdosta.
