It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Jane Alexander of Dillard, Georgia, born in Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on May 29, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father John Martin; her husband Hoyt Wilson Alexander; her sons, Daniel Atkinson and John Martin Atkinson; and her siblings, Johnny Cantrell and Rachael Cantrell.

She is survived by : her children, Kurt Knechtel of Dillard, GA., Debbie Valdez of Palatka, FL., Perry Atkinson of Lake City, FL., Terry Atkinson of Franklin, NC and Nancy Muehl of Forest, VA.. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.
