He was predeceased by : his parents, Julius Harold Dickerson Sr. and Louise Fowler Dickerson; his former life partner Anne Grist Dickerson; and his sister-in-law Karen Dickerson. He is survived by : his wife Betty Tasker Dickerson; his children, Bill Dickerson (Cynthia) of Watkinsville and Amy Dickerson Moore of Dillard, Georgia; his brothers, Robert "Bobby" Dickerson of Lithonia, James "Jim" Dickerson (Huellene) of Jackson, Georgia and Melvin Dickerson (Myra); his grandchildren, Laura Dickerson, Leah Smith (Ray), Scott Dickerson, Sarah Moore, Catherine Moore and Robert Moore (Cecilia); and his great grandchildren, Camille Hudson, Naomi Hudson, Antonio Hudson, Judah Hudson and Mayleigh Smith.
