It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Palmer (Dillard, Georgia), born in Sarasota, Florida, who passed away on May 22, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Hedlund and Sam Thomas; and her brothers, Richard and Roger Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Roscoe Palmer; her siblings, Junior (Connie Thomas), Milford (Melinda Thomas), Robin Thomas of Alabama, Joyce Rhoden of Union, Carol (Lanny Hoffman) and Alice Thomas of Rabun Gap, GA.; her grandchildren, Kimberly Verni (Mike) and Shannon Porter (Josh); and her great grandchildren, Christian Tubiolo, Gabe Porter, Joey Porter, Elle Verni and Daniel Dailey.
