She was predeceased by: her sisters, Elena Jane Miller and Benny Screws; and her son Steven Gay. She is survived by: her parents, Esten B. Screws and Ruby Howard Screws; her husband Jim Butler of Dillard; her children, Thomas Gay of Daniel Gay, Teresa Mckinzie, Donna Vaughan and Linda Ward; her siblings, David W. Fields and Nella Grace Krager; her grandchildren, Aleah Horn, Bryan Allen, Nicole Pirkle, Stephanie Garrett, Christopher Gay, Thomas Gay Jr., Connie Bolt and Kayla Reagin; and also Helper.
