Carron Benthall Grist Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carron Benthall Grist of Dillard, Georgia, born in Decatur, Alabama, who passed away on March 3, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, William T. Benthall and Carrie Opal Nesmith Benthall; her husband William H. "Bill" Grist; and her sister Sara Lee Gresham. She is survived by : her daughters, Cindy Fricks (Garry), Sheri Sands (Eric), Missi Mermelstein (Evan) and Traci Ward (Rob); and her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Joshua, Jacob Green, Samantha Sands, Kyle, Parker Bush and Kali Gray. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to a charity of choice.
