She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Cannon and Bessie Swafford Cannon; and her siblings, Carl Leroy Cannon and Jackie Houck. She is survived by: her sister Inez Hardy; her husband Gordon Jenkins; her children, Bobby Hamilton (Michelle) of Satolah, Georgia, Marlene Anderson of Clayton, Carol Owens of Anderson, SC, Anita Hamilton of Rabun Gap and Kim McKay (Ricky) of Clayton; and her siblings, Tommy Cannon of Smyrna, Georgia and Wilma Jean Trusty of Mountain City. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations should be made in Barbara's memory to the Hospice of Northeast Georgia 2150 Limestone Parkway Ste. 222 Gainesville, Georgia 30501.
