It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Viola Mills of Dexter, Georgia, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Elve Mills; her daughter Sharon Mills Turruella; her siblings, Alma Akers Craig, John E., Curt, Dorsie, Billy and Keith Akers; and her stepsiblings, Phobe Aker Trusty and Edwin Akers.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Whittle (Danny) of Dexter, Darrell Mills (Pat) of Rentz and Carl Mills (Pattie) of Cadwell; and her siblings, James Akers of Lee City, KY, Geraldine Akers Green of West Liberty, KY and Shirley Akers Kimelton of Lee City, KY.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
