He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Jean Phillips and Cynthia Taylor; his nephew Benjamin Hood; his daughter Myra Slaybaugh (Terry); his grandsons, Tyler and Ty Slaybaugh; his siblings, Danny Joe Pittman (Janice), Eva Mae Phillips (Richard), Lydia Loyd and Melissa Pittman (Dixie); his brother-in-law Marvin Phillips; his stepmother Nettie L. Pittman (Evette Lewis); and his aunt Alberta Lewis. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews, 39 great nieces and nephews.
