He was predeceased by: his parents, Kline Welton and Eudell Gay Currie; and his brother Kenneth Currie. He is survived by: his son Cole Currie of Phoenix City, AL; his siblings, Carolyn Hester (Kenneth) of Dunwoody, Rev. W. L. Currie (Wanda) of East Dublin and Tommy Currie of East Dublin; and his sister-in-law Daphine Currie of East Dublin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
