She is survived by: her husband James Houston, Jr.; her children, Mearle Houston of Dexter and Willie Houston (Mary) of Macon; her grandchildren, Kevin Collins, Keenan Houston of Dexter, Kowilli Houston of Baltimore, Livetta Houston of Macon and James Houston of Dallas; her stepgrandsons, Carlos Brantley of Macon and Willie Ellington of Atlanta; her sisters, Victoria Graham of Detroit and Ruby Pittman of Dublin; her stepsister Mary Walker of Dexter; her brother-in-law D. S. Houston of Pompona Beach; and her nephew Dennis Houston (Tracy) of Covington. She is also survived by friends and relatives.
