She was predeceased by: her husband Lawton Kemp, Sr.; her parents, Myrtle Sapp and John Lyles; her aunt Vera Kelly; her brothers, James Lyles and Jesse Lyles; and her stepbrother Watson Sapp.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Holton (Chad) and Lawton Kemp Jr. (Gale); and her grandchildren, Kellie Johnson (David), Lawson Holton (Kayla Morrison), Hannah Jones (Todd), Trae Kemp (Lori), Misti Robinson (Dustin) and Phillip Knight (Katie). She is also survived by her 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
