Margie Alligood Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margie Alligood of Dexter, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 9, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Prentice Ward and Lollie Pittman Ward; her husband Thomas Emory Alligood; and her sisters, Evelyn Dean McKinney, Marie Howell, Hazel Cliatt and Willene Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Alligood of Dexter, Deborah Thigpen of Dexter and Linda Kersey (Mark); and her grandchildren, Dan Kersey, Ashley Graham, Cory Foskey and Matt Foskey. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
