She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Daniel Hester; her parents, J. C. Rowland and Alice Bush Rowland; and her siblings, J. W. Rowland and Sybil Garrett.
She is survived by: her son Don Hester (Gwen) of Dexter; her grandchildren, Kari Hester of Dexter and Rob Hester (Nicole) of Dexter; her great grandchildren, Bailey Smith of Dexter and Rocco Greco of Baltimore, MD; and her sister Christine Hobbs of Dexter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
