She was predeceased by: her father Jack Smith; and her nephew Kaleb Amerson. She is survived by: her husband Hershel "Gene" Thomas of Dexter; her son Richard Thomas (Joy) of Dexter; her grandchildren, Connor Thomas (Caylyn) of Dexter, William Thomas of Dexter and Addison Thomas of Dexter; her mother Patsy Smith of Dexter; her siblings, Mike Smith (Diane) of Cedar Grove, Susan Amerson (Andy) of Cedar Grove and Randy Smith of Dexter; and her sister-in-law Margaret Pippin.
