She was predeceased by: her father Alvin Darsey; her son David William Burney; and her brother G. W. Darsey. She is survived by: her husband Billy Burney of Dexter; her daughter Kim Powell (Keith) of Brunswick; her grandchildren, Isaiah of Brunswick, Naomi of Brunswick and Maria Powell of Brunswick; and her sister Doris Braswell (Gene) of Dexter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
