He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter H. Maxwell and Francis Moore Maxwell; his wife Gwendolyn Ray Maxwell; and his brothers, Vernon and Billy.
He is survived by: his children, Michael, Rita Maxwell of Bowman, GA, Greg and Donna M. Webb of Dewy Rose, GA.; his grandchildren, Leanda Vaughn, Micah Lovinggood, Amber Campbell, Steven Webb and Nathan Webb; and his siblings, Barbara Maxwell of Bowman, Gail Seymour of Bowman, Mark Maxwell of Bowman, Sylvia Butler of Dewy Rose and Jan Oglesby of Elberton.
