He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Leroy Looney, Sr. and Martha Hanson Looney Moon; and his stepfather Ward Moon. He is survived by: his wife Betty Lucille Wilder Looney; his children, Skip Partain (Sherryl) of Bowman, Leonard "PeeWee" Partain (Emily) of Abbeville, SC, Melvene Martin (Alan) of Royston and Johnny Partain (Bobbie Sue) of Elberton; and his grandchildren, Tammy Dalton (Terry), Ben Partain (Gina), Laura Manley (Michael "Blue"), Andrea Garcia (Rick), Stephen Martin (Kim), Terry Martin, Kerry Partain (Dena) and Jeremy Partain (Jennifer). He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.
