She was predeceased by: her father James; and her siblings, Cozell Thornton Cooper, Jessie Thornton Stephenson and Joe Edward Blackwell. She is survived by: her husband Terry Stephens; her children, Gerald Stephens (Angela) of Bowling Green, KY, Valerie Stephens and Terri Scruggs (Christopher) of Decatur, GA.; her brothers, James Thomas Thornton (Sandra) and Talmadge Thornton (Louvenia); and her grandchildren, Kennedy, Jaden Stephens of Bowling Green, KY, Kenneth Robey and Christian Scruggs of Decatur, GA.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
