He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jamie Preston Santiago of Bowman and Dessie Lee Santiago of Bowman; his siblings, Marie Mooney of Elberton, David Bowers, Tammy of Bowman and Tim Bowers of Elberton; his nieces, Melanie Henson and Whitney Mooney; his nephew Jackson Bowers; his great-niece Merci Grace Mooney; his great-nephews, Colton Henson, Wyatt Henson and Rhett Henson; and his close friend Michael Cooper.
Malcolm requested, in lieu of flowers, that those desiring make contributions in his memory to a savings account at Pinnacle Bank for his grandchildren, Jamie and Dessie Santiago.
