He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Wood and Willie Pearl Ussery Wood. He is survived by: his wife Grace Partin Wood of Denton, GA; his children, Elaine Douglas (Jimmy) of Denton, GA and Ronald Lamar Wood (Susie) of Hazlehurst, GA; his grandchildren, Kevin Hand of Denton, GA, Jessica Highsmith (Robert) of Denton, GA and Ronnie Wood of Hazlehurst, GA; his great grandchildren, Allie Wood, Taylor Douglas, Kelsey Highsmith, Brody Highsmith, Gracie Highsmith, Jaxson Highsmith and Ansley Bradley; and his stepgrandchildren, Jamie Durrance, Stephanie Landeros, Jason, Ashlie Bradley and Aaron Tompkins.
