She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Smith, Sr. and Martha Harper; and her brother Sam Smith. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Merritt of Denton; her children, Wayne Merritt (Deana) of FairPlay, Charlotte Merritt of Denton and Elizabeth Dunn (Chris) of Hawkinsville, Georgia.; her grandchildren, Samantha Merritt, Lauren Merritt and Lexi Girtman; her great grandchildren, Maddox Poma, Mattison Kate Dunn and Mackenna Joy Dunn; and her brothers, Roy Smith, Jr. (Linda), Billy Smith and Jeff Vann (Karen). She is also survived by Mother, first and foremost to her children, grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
