He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Stone Sr. and Addie Wooten Stone; and his brothers, Harvey Stone, Jimmy Stone, Vyrlin Stone and Emory Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Beall Stone of Denton, GA; his sisters, Shirley Stone Caves (Johnny) of West Green, GA, Linda Stone Smith of Hazlehurst, GA and Sandra Stone Moody (Lonnie) of Hazlehurst, GA; his niece Jennifer Stone McCullar (Carl B. McCullar, III) of Hazlehurst, GA.; his godsons, Carl Clyde McCullar and Matthew Claude McCullar of Hazlehurst, GA.; and his sisters, Iva Stone King and Doris Stone Fletcher.
