William Lamar Shook Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Lamar Shook of Demorest, Georgia, born in Clayton, Georgia, who passed away on January 30, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford McKinley and Myrtle Mae Smith Shook; and his siblings, James (Katherine Shook), Albert Shook, Betty (Ed Roberts) and Beulah Mae (William Shaw).
He is survived by: his friend Sherrill Fry; his wife Shirley Ferguson Shook; his son Danny; his daughter-in-law Michelle Shook; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Dylan Charles, Madison Shook and Michael Johnson; his great grandchild Kershaw Glavin Charles of Demorest, GA; his brother Jerry; his sister-in-law Sarah Shook of Alto, GA; his sisters, Ida Lee (Wayne Gragg) and Patricia (David Chastain); and his sister-in-law Eva Nell Shook. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, & a host of friends.
