She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Davis and Mary Elizabeth Blair Davis; her husband William Oscar Burns; and her siblings, Junior Davis, Wade Davis, Lucille Martin, Brenda Thurmond and Blanche Burns.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Burns of Demorest, Alvin (Sheena Burns) and Curtis (Lorrie Burns); her grandchildren, Lamar Gerrells of Commerce, Alicia (Shannon Hamilton), Lee Burns of Oakwood, Mary Beth (Cory Byrd), Josh (Allie Burns) and Tabitha Ann Burns of Mt. Airy; and her siblings, Loyd Davis of Demorest, Ray Davis of Demorest and Geneva Gosnell of Demorest. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
