She is survived by: her daughter Deborah; her son-in-law Michael Showalter of Demorest; her brother William L.; her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Vinson of Social Circle and Barbara Bearden Stover of Canton; her grandchildren, Ryan (Elise Showalter), Kyle (Amanda Showalter), Daniel Showalter of Demorest, Steven (Marissa Showalter) and Karen (Mark Elam); her great grandchildren, Cyleste, Zander, Gavyn, Sebastian, Zeke, Amara, Andrew, Hudson and Jonathan; and her nieces and nephews, Rita Connell, Lori Tedder, Donna Morris, Larry Bearden, Terry Bearden, Tim Bearden, Lamar Vinson and Greg Stover. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Whitfield Funeral Home and Crematory- North Chapel (245 US-441, Baldwin, GA 30535). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at the Yonah Memorial Gardens (255 Central Ave, Demorest, GA 30535).
