It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Edward Rose of Demorest, Georgia, born in Grenada, Mississippi, who passed away on May 24, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Henry Rose, Sr. and Rachel Jackson Rose; and his brother Milton Henry "Jim" Rose, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Floyce Herring Rose of Demorest; his daughters, Terri Kirby (Mike) of Brandon, MS, Becky King (Holton) of Mount Airy, GA, Jill Chandler (Chris) of Georgetown, TX and Dr. Jana Rose (Dave Wehrstein) of Demorest, GA; his siblings, Betty Thompson of Grenada, MS, Jack Rose (Mary Edna) of Baton Rouge, LA, Bill Rose (Carolyn) of Holcomb, MS and Ben Rose (Mary) of Meridian, MS; and his grandchildren, Emily Tate, Tara Spencer, Thomas Kirby, Erin King, Mitchell King, Haley King, Carter King, Kevin Chandler, Eric Chandler, Ava Wehrstein and Jake Wehrstein. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
