It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Myra Bohannon of Demorest, Georgia, born in Clarkesville, Georgia, who passed away on May 9, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Carlan and Lila Magnolia Nix Carlan; and her sisters, Linda Abernathy, Manolia Bowden and Jo Ann Taylor.
She is survived by: her husband Dewaine Bohannon of Demorest; her son Toby; her daughter-in-law Daphne Bohannon of Clarkesville; her daughters, Pam (Jon Campbell) and Kelly (Chip Duncan); and her siblings, Jerry Carlan of Demorest and Arlene Whiting of Demorest. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
