It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Watkins Davidson of Demorest, Georgia, born in Lula, Georgia, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jay, Sr. and Lula Roper Watkins; her husband Olin Reed Davidson; her son-in-law Larry Banks; her granddaughter Kimberly Davidson; her great grandchild Eunice Lockoff; and her siblings, Jay Watkins, Jr. and Virginia Watkins.
She is survived by: her children, Harold Davidson of Griffin, GA, Hildred, Philip Craig of Seneca, SC, Kenneth, Denise Davidson of Tuscaloosa, AL, Donald, Sheila Davidson of Demorest, GA and Elaine Davidson Banks of Clarkesville, GA; and her sister Linda Watkins Kimbrell of Demorest, GA. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.
