She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Roy and Zelma Brewer Colston; her husband Kenneth "Ken" Alexander; and her siblings, Weldon Colston (Betty), Carl Colston, Vernon Colston (Lucille), Russell Colston (Frances), Ruth Forrester (Leo) and Ruby Batson (Claude).
She is survived by: her children, Tammie Troendly (Robert) of Clarkesville and Barry Alexander (Kay) of Sautee; her grandchildren, Christy Abernathy (Marty), Kenny Wilson (Caprise), Andy Alexander (Amber) and Allyson Hicks (Justin); her great grandchildren, Taylor, Edie, Koen, Deklan, Sawyer and Walker; and her sister-in-law Genevieve Colston of Mt. Airy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
