We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2021, at the age of 78, Lloyd Burrell Nix Jr. of Demorest, Georgia, born in Clarkesville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lille Mae Savage Nix of Demorest and Lloyd Burrell Nix, Sr.; and his son Greg Nix. He is survived by: his wife Myra Smith Nix of Demorest, GA; his daughter Deborah; his son-in-law Greg Brock of Baldwin, GA; his son Jonathan; his daughters-in-law, Chastity Nix of Gainesville, GA and Heather Nix Hood of Cleveland, GA; his sisters, Peggy Wilson of Cornelia, GA and Joann; his brother-in-law Bruce Thomas of Demorest, GA; and his brothers, Gerald (Gail Nix) and Tommy (Tiffany Nix). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, other relatives, & friends.
In consideration of public health & safety, the family requests that those in attendance for visitation & the funeral observe all guidelines for social distancing provided by the Centers for Disease Control in regards to Covid-19.
