He is survived by: his wife Sandra Shell (Odom) of Demorest, GA; his children, Ricky Shell of Snellville, GA, Danny Shell of Snellville, GA, Craig Shell of Snellville, GA, Terisa (Tom Scott), Beth (Rocky Allen) and Shannon Couch of Gainesville, GA; his siblings, Patsy Johnson of Snellville, GA and Richard Shell of Snellville, GA; and his brother-in-law Andy Odom of Suwanee, GA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; numerous family and friends.
