He was predeceased by: his parent Marlin Alexander; and his siblings, Lavaughn Hampton, Edith Tyner, Lorene Lowery, Janice Webb, Gail Brown, C. L. Dillard, Jack Dillard and Curtis Alexander.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Colston Alexander of Demorest; his daughter Tammie; his son-in-law Robert Troendly of Clarkesville; his son Barry; his daughter-in-law Kay Alexander of Sautee; his grandchildren, Christy Abernathy, Marty, Kenny Wilson, Caprise, Andy Alexander, Amber, Allyson Hicks and Justin; and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Edie, Koen, Deklan, Sawyer and Walker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
