She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Catherine and Cornelius Jackson Keith; and her sister Jacquelyn Keith Hornsby of Iron City, GA.. She is survived by: her husband John Robert Hires of Milledgeville, GA.; her children, Mary Catherine Hires (Cherry) of Ellijay, GA, Terri Lynn Parker (Greg) of Clarkesville, GA and Keith Lane Hires (Kelly) of Johns Creek, GA.; her grandchildren, Lydia Hires Rosenberg (Michael), Ann Marie Schleier (John), Allison Felton (Tim), Allana D'Amico (Evan), Dalton Peters and Graham Peters; and her great grandchildren, Rosie, Roman, Claire, Alice, Caroline, Cora, Sybil, Tyson and Ruby. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
