We are sad to announce that on June 20, 2021, at the age of 93, Jean Matthews Gossett Williams of Demorest, Georgia, born in Ozark, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warner T. Matthews and Belle Marshall Matthews; her former husband Richard M. Gossett; her husband Jerome Williams; and her siblings, Thomas Matthews, Edward Matthews, Zack Matthews, John Matthews and Myra Lowery.
She is survived by: her children, Richard "Tim" Gossett of Atlanta, GA, Phillip W. and Dianne Gossett of Demorest, GA; her brother Billy; her sister-in-law Marie Matthews of Sharpsburg, GA; and her grandchildren, Matthew Gossett, Amy Gossett, Amanda Gossett, Jana, Jared Sanders, Dr. Michael and Katie Gossett. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.
