Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Janet Whitfield of Demorest, Georgia, born in Toccoa, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 67, on October 5, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Travis Smith and Frances Emmalene Savage Smith; and her brothers, Joey Smith and Marvin Smith. She is survived by: her husband John Whitfield of Demorest; her daughters, Tonya (Donald Smith), Brandy (Walter Anderson) and Kimberly Whitfield of Demorest; her stepchildren, Krystian Whitfield of Helen, Toby Whitfield of Demorest and Shane Whitfield of Clarkesville; and her brothers, Ira Smith of Baldwin, Ralph Smith of Baldwin and James "Hoss" Smith of Demorest. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
