He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas L.; his grandmother Gastley Black; and his siblings, Jerry Black, John Larry Black, Margaret Cruce, Carolyn Landrum, Beverly Coffer and Barbara Green.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Jean Hill Black of Demorest; his son Kevin; his daughter-in-law Beth Black of Anderson; his daughter Kristi B.; his son-in-law Mike Dickman of Ball Ground; his sister Beth Black of Clarkesville; his grandchildren, Gibson Black (Elizabeth) of Greenville, Maggie Black of Charleston, Lexi Dickman of Ball Ground and Livi Dickman of Ball Ground; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Hill (Lawonda) of Clarkesville, Brad Hill (Vicki) of Chiefland, Everett Landrum of Clarkesville and Linda Gail Black Marshall (Hayward) of Clarkesville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hillside Memorial Chapel (5495 GA-197, Clarkesville, GA 30523). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church (5495 GA-197, Clarkesville, GA 30523). A burial was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Hillside Memorial Chapel (5495 GA-197, Clarkesville, GA 30523).
