He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth Dotson Smith of Demorest; his sons, John Smith of Mississippi and Andrew Smith of Demorest; his sister Denise Stickles of Clarkesville; his sisters-in-law, Karen Moss (James) and Jennifer Bryson (Mark); and his uncles, Sam Manus and Donald Manus (Elizabeth). He is also survived by 4 nieces.
