He was predeceased by: his parents, Melton Fletcher and Flora Bell Presley Underwood; his wife Charlotte Tench Underwood; and his siblings, Ed Underwood, Thurman Underwood, Hoyt Underwood, Hazel Hicks, Ella Wilson, Nell Caudell and Ruth McEntire.
He is survived by: his children, Steve (Jill Underwood), Greg (Tracy Underwood), Kim (Greg Campbell) and Carol (Ricky Wade); and his grandchildren, Mitchell Wade, Michelle Batson, Haleigh Mealor, Branson Underwood, Jaren Campbell, Melissa Bailey, Matthew Campbell and Michaela Taylor. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
