He is survived by: his daughter Emily Irene Whiting of Clarkesville; his parents, Shirrell Whiting of Demorest and Ronnie Dotson (Kathleen) of Mt. Airy; the mother of his child Laura Irene Butler of Hiawassee; his sisters, Joyelle Metz of Buford, Wanda Meeks of Demorest and Tabitha Van Slyke of Wasilla; his parents-in-law, Fred and Dolly Butler of Hiawassee; and his siblings-in-law, Olivia Butler of Clarkesville, Dolly Butler Moore of Mt. Airy, Matthew Butler of Hobe Sound and Freddy Butler of Hiawassee. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
