We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2022 we had to say goodbye to David Michael Bland of Demorest, Georgia, born in Bloomington, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Jim Bland and Pat Bland; his wife Catherine Bland; his daughters, Cassi Hollums (Andy) and Jessie Hawkins (Christofer); his grandchildren, Lysander, Melchizedek, Hilkiah, Hypatia and Baby Girl Hollums; his daughters, Jane and Finlee Hawkins; and his sister Robyn Batts (Dave). He is also survived by 2 nephews and 1 niece-in-law also survive him along with Aunts, Uncles, and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the Habersham County Animal Shelter 4231 B Toccoa Highway Clarkesville, GA 30523 as Dave rescued several dogs from there.
