She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Davis and Mary Elizabeth Blair Davis; her husband Leroy Burns; and her siblings, Wade Davis, Lucille Martin and Brenda Thurmond.
She is survived by: her son Larry Lee; her daughter-in-law Frances Burns of Mt. Airy; her daughter Sandra Diane Whitmire of Demorest; her granddaughters, Angela Tench (Randy), Tonya Parson (Lee) and Samantha Dills (Allen); and her siblings, Lloyd Davis of Demorest, Ray Davis of Demorest, Vernia Burns of Demorest and Geneva Gosnell of Demorest. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
