She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Watkins and Willie Pearl Watkins; and her sister Lanell Woodall. She is survived by: her husband Telford Dalton, Sr.; her son Telford Dalton Jr. (Karen); her siblings, Janice Lovell, Elaine Rumple and Wayne Watkins; her grandson Jacob Dalton; and her stepgrandchildren, Scott Williams and Megan Williams.
