With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Annette McCollum Allen Turpen of Demorest, Georgia, who passed away on September 21, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Paul and Daisy Irene Miles McCollum; her former husband Charles Herbert Allen; her husband N. U. Turpen; her son Blake Anthony Allen; and her brothers-in-law, Randall Landers and Bill Meeks.
She is survived by: her grandson Josh; her granddaughter-in-law Kelly Allen; her great grandchildren, Piper and Niko Allen; her daughter-in-law Valerie Baker Lyle; her sisters, Sue Landers and Doris Meeks; her stepchildren, Terry, Ginger Jennings, Wesley, Becky Turpen, Laura and Walter Matlock; her stepgrandchildren, Ashley Cartwright, Matt Jennings, Langston Brady Turpen, Madeline Turpen and Mallory Barber; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Sarah, Hannah Cartwright, Easton, Stella Jennings and Aubrey Turpen; her aunt Katie McCollum; and her siblings-in-law, Yvonne and Charles Lindsay. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, & a host of friends.
